Hayes Academy of Innovation

Homeschooling with Structure, Support, and Community

A nonprofit, Category IV homeschool umbrella and hybrid microschool serving K–8 homeschool families.

How Our Hybrid Homeschool Works

Students attend in person two days per week for small-group instruction, enrichment, and community learning. Families continue homeschooling at home the remaining days, with parents retaining full responsibility for curriculum and daily instruction.

Enrollment includes homeschool umbrella coverage through our nonprofit in accordance with Tennessee Category IV homeschool law.

Why Stanford Elementary

Our Learning Model

Small-group instruction is rooted in structured literacy, conceptual math, and hands-on, project-based learning. Instruction is personalized, developmentally appropriate, and designed to complement—not replace—home learning.

Enrollment & Eligibility

Enrollment is open to K–8 homeschool families seeking a structured, in-person learning experience two days per week. Families must be enrolled under our homeschool umbrella or provide proof of legal homeschool status.

What Students Experience

Students engage in academic workshops, enrichment, collaborative projects, and guided practice that build confidence, independence, and a love of learning—without the pressure of traditional school models.

Community & Enrichment

Beyond core learning days, families may participate in optional enrichment classes, workshops, and community events designed to support connection, creativity, and whole-child growth.

For Homeschool Parents

Hayes Academy of Innovation exists to support—not replace—your homeschool. Families remain fully responsible for curriculum, instruction, and educational decisions, while we provide structured in-person learning, enrichment, and homeschool umbrella oversight.

This model is designed for parents who want community, accountability, and professional support without giving up the flexibility and values of homeschooling.
