The Pre-K Learning Lab at Hayes Academy of Innovation is a calm, nurturing weekly class designed for young homeschool learners who are ready to learn through play, routine, and exploration.
This one-hour lab supports early school readiness without pressure or worksheets. Children learn through movement, stories, hands-on materials, and guided play in a small-group setting.

What a Typical Morning Looks Like?

Songs, stories, sharing, and building comfort with group routines -
Early Literacy Play
Letters, sounds, rhyming, vocabulary, and language development -
Math Through Play
Counting, sorting, patterns, and problem-solving with manipulatives -
Hands-On Project or Sensory Activity
Art, building, pretend play, or themed exploration -
Movement & Social Play
Games, fine-motor practice, and confidence-building with peers
