Founder's Welcome from
Dr. Alisha Hayes
Welcome to Dr. Hayes Educates & The Academy of Innovation — a place where personalized learning, creativity, and community come together.
As an educator, diagnostician, and curriculum expert with over 20 years of experience, I created this space to offer children and families what I wish existed when I began teaching: a flexible, research-based environment where students are truly seen, supported, and celebrated.
Every learner has a unique path to success. Whether your child joins us for one-on-one tutoring, academic enrichment, or our hybrid microschool, we are committed to nurturing their strengths and helping them grow with confidence and joy.
Warmly,
Dr. Alisha A. Hayes

This designation grants full private-school status while also offering legal umbrella coverage for families who homeschool under our supervision.
As a Category IV school, Hayes Academy of Innovation:

Issues official student records, including transcripts, report cards, and diplomas recognized by colleges, universities, and the College Board.

Offers both on-campus instruction (two days per week) and home-based learning (three days per week), blending the flexibility of homeschooling with the structure of a private school.
-
Provides parents the freedom to participate in instruction while ensuring compliance with all Tennessee attendance, record-keeping, and academic requirements.
Families enrolled with Hayes Academy of Innovation are legally recognized as private-school students in the state of Tennessee — not independent homeschoolers — giving them access to accredited testing options, graduation pathways, and post-secondary opportunities.
