Welcome to the K–5 Hybrid Learning Community
A Personalized Elementary Experience Designed Around Your Child
The K–5 Hybrid Learning Community offers a personalized, flexible approach to elementary education that combines two days of teacher-led, hands-on learning on campus with purposeful Guided Home Learning.
In our small, mixed-age community, students are taught based on readiness and individual needs, not simply grade level. Through literacy and math workshops, authentic learning experiences, Innovation Lab, executive functioning support, and character development, students build the skills, confidence, curiosity, and independence they need to thrive.

The DHEAI 2-2-1 Learning Model
A Balanced Approach to Learning
Our 2-2-1 Learning Model balances teacher-led instruction, Guided Home Learning, and family connection.
Students spend two days on campus learning through personalized, hands-on instruction and two days at home completing teacher-designed activities that reinforce learning and build independence—without requiring parents to become the teacher.
Fridays are optional Family Connection days, giving families opportunities to learn through shared experiences, exploration, community activities, and real-world learning.

Building Strong Foundations for Lifelong Learning
At DHEAI, our K–5 curriculum combines research-based instruction, high-quality resources, and hands-on learning rather than relying on one boxed program. Students build strong skills in literacy and math while exploring science, social studies, the arts, and Innovation Lab through meaningful, connected learning experiences.
Through personalized instruction, flexible grouping, and ongoing assessment, students are challenged at the level that is right for them. Our curriculum also develops critical thinking, creativity, communication, executive functioning, character, and independence, helping students connect what they learn to the real world.

Operates as a private school, not a co-op or tutoring program
-
Establishes its own academic program, curriculum, and instructional policies
-
Maintains official enrollment, attendance, and student records
-
Provides on-campus and home-based learning options
-
Offers Category IV umbrella enrollment for families who educate their children at home
-
