What Is a Tennessee Homeschool Umbrella?
A Tennessee Homeschool Umbrella is a non-public school that allows families to legally homeschool while remaining enrolled under the umbrella school's oversight. As a Category IV Umbrella School, Dr. Hayes Educates Academy of Innovation provides the required enrollment and recordkeeping services while parents maintain responsibility for their child's education.
Our umbrella program is designed for families who want the flexibility to homeschool while meeting Tennessee's homeschool requirements in a simple and organized way.
