Admissions | Hayes Academy of Innovation

A K–8 Hybrid Microschool in Nashville, Tennessee

HAI is a hybrid K–8 microschool serving a small multi-age cohort with a maximum of 10-14 students.

Because of our intentionally small size and mastery-based learning model, admission is selective and based on alignment with our program philosophy.

Hayes Academy is not a traditional five-day campus school.
We are a structured hybrid academy designed for families who value strong academics, purposeful learning, and partnership in education.

Our goal is to ensure every student who joins HAI can thrive in our learning environment.

WHO THRIVES AT HAYES ACADEMY OF INNOVATION

Hayes Academy of Innovation may be a strong fit for students who:

• Thrive in small-group learning environments

• Benefit from clear structure and consistent routines

• Learn best through mastery-based pacing rather than rushing

• Enjoy hands-on, engaging, and project-based learning experiences

• Are part of a homeschool family seeking academic structure and support

• Can participate respectfully in a multi-age learning environment

Hayes Academy of Innovation is a neurodivergent-affirming environment that supports students with diverse learning needs, including those who benefit from structured literacy and individualized instruction.

Because of our intentionally small class sizes, we carefully consider each student’s needs to ensure the program is the right fit and that every child is supported for success.
