A 3-day, half-day baking class where students create real desserts while building essential reading and math skills through hands-on learning.
Students will mix, measure, bake, decorate, and present their own baked goods while learning how to follow directions, understand quantities, and apply skills in a real-world setting.
Each day focuses on a different part of baking:
Day 1: Cookies – mixing, measuring, and baking chocolate chip cookies
Day 2: Cupcakes – preparing batter, baking, frosting, and decorating
Day 3: Bakery Creations – brownies and layered dessert cups with a final “bakery-style” presentation
All recipes are modeled and guided step-by-step, so no prior experience or reading level is required. Students are supported at their level and actively engaged throughout the entire session.

All baking is guided and supervised
Students work in small groups and rotate through stations
Recipes are adapted for all learners
